mother has lost it

Post  Mya09 on Sun Dec 21, 2008 12:56 am

ok so basicly my mom has really gotten crazy lately. She will like complain and freak about some of the weirdest things that totally arn't my fault, and it is starting to effect me in a bad way. I used to have pretty bad depression and i have gotten way better over the years. Well im starting to get some mild depression and its not going well. My mom will like yell at me and then i will just sit in the dark not talk to anyone not do anything except doodle and write songs in some kind of depressed trance. Then i will get mad at myself for not liking my mom cause i mean....shes my mom. But i cant help it because of all the things she has put me through. I cant talk to her because whatever i say she will turn it around into me saying something else....i mean i love my mom but theres a point where its to much to take.... what would you guys do in such a situation?

My mother is kind of going through the same thing.
It's an unfortunate phase that some go through.
I have Depression, too, although beyond mild, and it's hard. Writing is a very good idea, though. Write out all of your emotions as much as you can: it really helps.
All I can say is just realize that your mother is probably going through a hard time right now, and that you need to support her, regardless of whether or not she proves to be a monster.
Let her know that you know she is going through a hard time, and you want to help her.
That could do it, though it is idealistic, not realistic. I am not sure.
But, pray, I shall.
