how i really came to know christ and how what happened change the way i look at life

about 2 yrs ago i was in an accident..i won't go into details but i can tell you what i was told cus i can't remember alot. i was in a bike accident..my brother ran me over with his bike on a monday morning in july of 2006. I was rushed to the hospital and the doctors didn't think i could have lived and the emts lost me for 5 min in the ambulance. anyway i was brused on my whole right side but no broken bones. i had a huge goose egg on my forehead and the doctors said that if i had hit my head any harder on the ground i would have been dead instantly because of my size and the impact of the ground. well i recovered. it took 2 weeks and then a month to fully recover. that weekend i was singing amazing grace and it hit me that that song really was talking about how amazing God is. Now i look at life as a second chance to really change someone or myself. i love to sing and write poems so it all helps. i have nightmares when i see a show where someone is hurt or dies from a bike accident or a motorcycle accident and it makes me shake and feel faint and feel really sick and dizzy but i know that God is with me and there was a reason why i didn't die that day. so for anyone who thinks that God isn't real..read this and you will know that he has a purpose for you and he will never leave you and now i read my bible everyday, i love going to church but when i sing it has a new meaning to it. i am now in college on my first yr and knowing that god is here with me really helps me deal with everything that has happened lately. even if he doesn't seem near he is there so trust in him and he will guide you all the way.

Cheers Sis, ain't it great the way God looks after us, and I was just wondering about the goose egg on your forehead. Did you get a scar from it. I've got a funny story about bumping my head, and I've still got the scar. Thanx for sharing. Peace.
