LFCA Newsletter...any ideas?

Post  livingForChrist on Sun Oct 12, 2008 1:56 am

I am the head journalist of the LFCA Newsletter. It will be sent out every other week. The day its sent out is TBD.

Here are some ideas on what to include:
A quote
Bible scripture
News on events happening in the christian world
A devotional (written by a staff member)
A poem (also written by a staff member)
Interview with a member (as of right now, I would be the first one interviewed)
Upcoming birthdays

The email address for the newsletter is lfca-newsletter@live.com

If theres anything you want to be included, please let me know. Thanks!
Also, if you have a name idea for the newsletter, you can post that too.

Also consider having a staff member give a review on a movie and one on a book that they have just read.

Maybe name it the Christian Chronicle?

idk if i agree with that josh (sorry if im overstepping my bonds, but as Christians we are to address the good, and the bad. If we read something we do not like we should raise a red flag.

I've seen fireproof twice. If you guys dont already have someone i can give that review (i cant do books right now because the book i am on im not finished with...)

I was just wondering if you send these newsletters to everyones email, or do you just post it somewhere here on the site? If you send it to people, I haven't been receiving any. It would be be good if you could send me a few of the issues, if you have them, so maybe I can throw in some input on them.

I sent out two emails...one was an introduction and the other had birthdays for this week. If you haven't gotten them, send me a PM with your email and then I'll see if its on the address book for the newsletter

Newsletter Suggestions Thread

Post  livingForChrist on Fri Oct 24, 2008 1:16 pm

I mentioned about this thread on the newsletter. If you have anything you really liked, post a response saying so.
if they is something you dislike or think could be improved, post it here.
If there is something you would like to be added, post about that too.

I would like your opinions.
