I struggled in the past.

It started when I was 12. I got hooked on porn. I can say that I am free from that for a year and a half now

lately I haev been struggling with my problem of masterbation....
then tonight.. I unfortunately... looked up porn.... maybe not real porn .. but none the less...
but yeah.. if you guys could I would appreciate prayer... adn amyeb some help to liek overcome my addiction to masterbation....

I'll definitely be praying for you brother. This battle is hard and as we are human we will fall. I would suggest three things to you that might help when your under attack to remember. 1. It is a lie. None of that (forgive me josh) shit is real, it is just an imitation and a weak one at that. 2. When you feel like you can't win on your own its because you can't. When you are alone it is your human strength against this addiction, and at that match up, you will lose every time. But you have the Holy Spirit in you who is a sign that you will be saved from hell and that Christ is starting a good deed in you, with Christ, we can defeat any attack, no matter how hard or where it strikes, even if that is our weak spot. Finally, You are not fighting for yourself. You are fighting for your future wife, for the Woman that God has set apart to marry you one day. If you belonged to yourself even now, then you could to with yourself as you pleased, but you belong first to God, and then to the woman that God has chosen for you. It isn't just her, its also your future family, the kids that will one day look up to you and see what kind of man you are, that will look for inspiration and guidance. The movie fireproof made a very good point about this, it referred to addictions as being parasites that suck the life out of you, and as long as they hold on, the mirage and the family cannot survive. Either you are a slave to this sin, and some girl on the internet who does not know you, and who does not care. Or you are a slave to God, and the woman and family that will love you, and support you.
When Satan attacks me, that is where my defense starts, with my future wife. I fight because I want to be someone they can look up to. To be someone who leads by example, and who is pure and has saved himself for his wife.

its cool bro i did it for me too i need a purety quest also i belong to another one on another forum that mark goes to (u dont know himn yet i think idk) but yeah i have very hard problems with masterbation as well it is very hard to stop.........

hmmm.. to be 100% honest with you guys..
I am kind of confused...
it seems that liek whenever I am in some sort of relationship with a girl... it is a lot easier to control my urges...
not sure if it is extra motivation or wat... but yeah.. just something I kind of noticed...

its because you have a reason to fight back. When you are single, its just you vs. the addiction. When you have a gf, you are fighting for yourself, and her. And because you see your gf as being beautiful, the porn looses its apeal and beauty, because as I have said before, porn is a lie.
