Freedom In Christ
This is more of a personal testimony rather than a devotional at the beginning, but it is what is on my heart.
The Lord Almighty says “My child. I love you. I have not left your side.” Can He here my thoughts, prayers, and cries? Can He hear my heart in this time of struggle.
This past 3 weeks have been rather tempting for me lately. In compliance with the Will of God for my life, I am in a quest to become completely pure in my Walk with Christ. Meaning, I am breaking every lustful stronghold that has been rooted in my life for a long six years.
The Lord said “Have you no faith? Child I loved you even before you were crafted in your mother's womb. I knitted you together. I know every hair on your head, every tear you shed. You need to quit living in the past, clinging to the imperfections, living in defeat.”
Why do we choose to live in defeat? Do we not get the fact that two thousand some odd years ago Jesus Christ, our savior, bled and died for every sin that we will ever commit?
This is for someone who is going to read this.
You need to quit living in your personal defeat. Quit taking matters in your hands, give them to God, let Him give you wisdom, and strength. Have faith that He will be your protection. Have faith knowing that He will never give us more than we can handle on our own.
