just wondering what all of you thought of online dating..do you think it can work??

hmm...i honestly don't think it could. getting emotionally attached to someone you'd probably never meet is unhealthy & i think that it's better to just meet ppl in person.

i will tell you what i think. i think it dose not matter if it is online or not if you meet someone and you love them and they love you that is all that matters.

i met my girlfriend online and yeah it is still a online relationship but we have been dating for 8 months sience yesterday. and i love her with all my heart it is un healthy because it hurts being away from the person you love that is the only reason why i would not say it is good.

if done correctly and safely then there's no issue with it. and yes it does work occasionally I think it works more times than we give it credit for but the majority of them don't work. I personally would never do it I'm not that way it's just not how I've been wired. but yes it does work sometimes

yeah i agree, if your being safe about it then its fine. It could be a great way to meet your "soulmate", or just meet a person who would be a great person to have around. The trick is to just be carful and stay out of a bad situation, or what you think wouldnt be safe. also if its like long distance or what not make sure your emotionaly ready for that cause i know some people dont like not being able to hug and things like that.

yeah you need to be able to handle that thing because me and my gf are both touchy people (we like to touch.) and it just kills us sometimes that we cant touch each other so be careful.

Hmmmm, it all depends I spose, if physicality is not foremost on your list of requirements in a mate/friend, then yes. But even then getting to know someone online doesn't necessarily give you a true picture of who and what they are. My mother told me to believe none of what you hear (this applies to the written word too), and only half of what you see.

hmmm well online relationships are ok me nad my ex lasted 9 months togeather before we broke up....
