Romans 7: 14-25

Post  Virtuous.Princess on Sat Sep 13, 2008 1:46 am

hey yall! this is another favorite bible verse of mine. ^_^ i would type it all out like i did the previous verse, but it's pretty long. Shocked sooo...for those of you who don't have a bible right beside you at the moment i will break it down for you. Wink

basically this particular verse talks about how we all know that following god's word is the right thing to do, but deep down we still are corrupt, & have that desire to sin & do what we know is wrong.

" although i have the desire to do what is right, i don't do it. i don't do the good i want to do. instead, i do the evil that i don't want to do. now, when i do what i don't want to do, i am no longer the one who is doing it. sin that lives in me is doing it. " ( romans 7: 18-20 )

when i read this verse for the 1st time it amazed me, because i could relate to it 100%. how do you guys relate Question

lool... haha.. I totally know this verse... XD... I learned about it at camp this year.. hwoever I only really knew of it as the"do-do" verse .. lol.. but yeah I can relate to it... it is almost as if we want to do things that we shouldn't do just becasue it is in our nature to try new thing or push limits adn cross boundaries..
