It Ended In A Song:

I cannot recall how many times I had tried:
Countless failed attempts and empty promises scarred my breaking heart.
The disappointment and hate that I bore toward myself had taken hold:
The fear of damnation clouded my thoughts,
And I could not seem to escape.
An abundance of tears summoned bitter nights:
Despair and hopelessness filled my heart as I tried to get back up.
A time when sin was almost nonexistent had faded:
Temptation appeared around every corner while I tried to live righteously.
But then, as if an angel was singing, I heard a song.
In its words stood truth and love, giving me the hope I had been searching for.
My problems faded:
My weaknesses were made into my strengths.
Everything that I was holding onto vanished, as though they never were.
Sadness left my soul and joy had come forth:
I was made anew.
More than I had ever desired presented itself to me.
And just to imagine—
It ended with a song.

mhm im sure u will.. its pretty good. I dont have great poetic ability lol. I write a few songs every now and then but its nothing that great lol. Most of it is just to humor one of the members in my band momentarily lol.
